BIM is trending in today’s Architectural fraternity because of the tool’s calibration to manage from concept to execution stage of any project.

BIM as a tool has the flexibility to collaborate between the team members and consultants. The overlay between consultants and designers happens in the same BIM model helping in easier coordination and understanding of design. The advantage of entire team working on the same BIM model makes it healthy working within the team. Also helps to identify errors, instantly fix it increasing the design efficiency in intra office environment.. It allows designers in achieving accuracy on drawings, making it simpler in site construction. This enhances the built quality on site.

Bina founded the practice DESIGN TRANSIT in 2010 and since then the firm has established itself to be a innovative and sustainable design house.

The firm, since then has successfully designed and executed numerous architectural and corporate Interior projects, in Bangalore and other locations in India. Her design philosophy and client focused approach has been instrumental in building team of creative professionals and establishing the firm’s reputation for delivering qualitative projects to the client’s satisfaction.

As a passionate architect and designer she believes in an uncompromising design strategy, which pushes the boundaries of the present models to achieve the perfect space that appeals to the user in a wholesome manner interlacing it with the natural elements of the surrounding.

Her philosophy - “Simple is complex and complex is challenging – challenge is rewarding”, has ensured the relevance of relentless hardwork on the path to success.
